Family in Town!

I'm very lucky and blessed that my family gets to visit. And with my upcoming surgery to take my wisdom teeth out (ouch!) my mom insisted that if she was going to visit this summer, it would be at the same time as my surgery. So here they are!

Although, regardless of the horrible heat wave the rest of the United States is experiencing, for some bizarre reason, LA is still not very warm. Sure it goes up to 75-80 in the middle of the day, but it's still almost light sweater weather. My mom, who thought she was coming to a hot LA, says to me as she shivers: "I thought you said it was summer!"

It's suppose to be summer. But we are still having 60 degree nights, and barely 80 degree days.

I'm not complaining though, I think this weather is wonderful!!

They arrived on Tuesday, but I've been to busy with them to update. And tomorrow is my Mom's Bday, (yay!) and it's been years since I've been with her on her birthday, but since I'm going to be in recovery and not able to eat anything solid tomorrow, I decided to we should celebrate today so I took her to the Cheesecake Factory, which everyone loved and got her some awesome Lululemon pants, which I know she will love. I forgot to take a BB pic, but I might update later with a photo from my dad's camera.
